About Tulsi Lake

At 8,046 ML, Tulsi is the smallest lake in the system, but it reliably overflows before any of the others — a 6 sq km catchment fills fast. Built in 1879, it too sits inside Sanjay Gandhi National Park. When it spills, water flows directly into neighbouring Vihar Lake. The ancient Kanheri Caves are a short walk from its perimeter.
